Gypsum board is a lightweight building material mainly made of building gypsum, which has the properties of light weight, high strength, easy processing, sound insulation, heat insulation, and fire prevention. It is widely used in the interior walls, ceilings, and other parts of buildings such as residential buildings, office buildings, and shops. Its types are diverse, mainly including the following:
Paper faced gypsum board: with gypsum slurry as the sandwich and paper as the protective surface on both sides. Lightweight, high-strength, fire-resistant, and easy to process, it is a commonly used variety in decoration. Ordinary type is used for interior walls, partition walls, and suspended ceilings; The water-resistant type has undergone waterproof treatment and can be used for walls in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms and kitchens; The fire-resistant board core has added refractory materials and glass fibers, suitable for places with fire protection requirements; Moisture resistant type has high surface moisture resistance and can be used for ceilings and partitions in rooms with high humidity.
Paperless gypsum board: a new type of building board mainly made of building gypsum powder and reinforced with various fibers. Without the need for protective cardboard, it has a wider range of applications and better comprehensive performance than paper faced gypsum board.
Decorative gypsum board: A board made mainly from building gypsum and mixed with a small amount of fiber materials, with various patterns and decorations. Such as gypsum printed board, perforated ceiling board, gypsum relief ceiling board, etc., have the characteristics of lightweight, fireproof, moisture-proof, easy processing, and simple installation. The new resin imitation decorative waterproof gypsum board surface is covered with resin, and the decorative pattern is imitated with realistic color and pattern. It can be used for decorating walls, making wall panels and skirting boards.
Gypsum hollow strip board: a hollow board made from building gypsum as the main raw material, mixed with appropriate lightweight fillers or fiber materials, and processed. It does not require paper or adhesive, and does not require keel during installation. It is a rapidly developing lightweight board mainly used for interior walls and partition walls.
Fiber gypsum board: made mainly from building gypsum and mixed with appropriate fiber reinforcement materials. The bending strength is higher than that of paper faced gypsum board, which can be used for interior walls and partitions, and can also replace wood in furniture production.
Plant straw paper faced gypsum board: Unlike ordinary paper faced gypsum board, it uses a large amount of plant straw to fully utilize local waste, solving environmental problems and increasing farmers' economic income. At the same time, it reduces the weight of gypsum board, lowers transportation costs, and reduces coal and electricity consumption.
Gypsum sound-absorbing board: Based on decorative gypsum board and paper faced gypsum board, cylindrical holes are drilled through the front and back of the gypsum board, and a combination of breathable backing material and sound-absorbing material that can absorb sound energy are pasted on the back of the gypsum board. It has strong sound-absorbing function and is suitable for spaces that require sound-absorbing such as cinemas, conference rooms, KTVs, etc.
Embedded decorative gypsum board: a board without protective paper made from building gypsum as the main raw material, mixed with an appropriate amount of fiber reinforcement materials and additives, mixed with water to form a uniform slurry, poured, formed, and dried. It has the advantages of fire prevention, sound insulation, and easy construction. The back of the board is thickened on all four sides and equipped with embedded tongue and groove. The front of the board is flat, usually with holes or relief patterns, with a strong sense of three dimensionality.
